Dedicated review of +EV bet finders?
Paid services scan sportsbook odds and highlights price discrepancies based on predefined models, often with fewer display restrictions than free versions.
Premium value bet finders typically offer broader data coverage and faster updates, which may improve analytical consistency.
1. BetHero – Excellent for Pre-match & Live

BetHero is gaining a good reputation among positive EV betting services due to its bookmaker coverage, fast odds refresh rate, pricing, and the filtering options.
I tested each of their features, scanning speed and accuracy and concluded that the price/value ratio of BetHero deserves the first position in this list.
Both beginner and experienced bettors who are looking for signals to find overpriced odds will find their performance and user interface suitable.
Odds Value Checker:
Pros of BetHero
- Displays value bets from over 400 bookmakers
- Has a trial version for only 1 Euro
- Odds are refreshed in below 5 seconds in average
- Has an auto redirection tool integrated for each betting opportunity
- Multi filtering available to exclude every unnecessary signal
- A wide range of filters for leagues, markets, sportsbooks, profitability, staking methods
- You can setup custom bookmakers as a control which must be included to calculate the true odds for an outcome
Cons of BetHero
- Account freezing is not available (you can’t stop the subscription plan for a shorter period when you can’t use the service)
Who is the target audience of BetHero?
In my experience, both beginner and experienced smart bettors should try their services. The bookie coverage is mainly focused on US, CA, Europe. However, many of them are available in Asia, Africa, or South America.
Bettors who need complex filters to exclude every unnecessary value bet, should give them a try.
Pricing:

You can try their services for 1 Euro, after that the pricing ranges from €49.99 per month up to €149.99 depending on you needs. Lower plans have limitations (profit and live coverage), while the Pro plan gives you access to each of their features.
2. RebelBetting – Best for Pre-match
RebelBetting is a widely used pre-match only service among European bettors. It offers a free trial version with the condition of not delaying bets and a 3.5% profit limitation.
The service stands out primarily because of the breadth of bookmakers, markets, and sports it monitors.
Its calculator provides theoretical stake sizing outputs based on parameters selected by the user.
Pros of RebelBetting
- They scan over 120 bookmakers
- 2-week free trial with a profit limitation of 3.5%

What are the main features of RebelBetting?

The most significant advantage of RebelBetting over its competitors is the stake management system implemented for every value bet.

3. Pinnacle Odds Dropper
Pinnacle Odds Dropper is a relatively recent addition within the analytical betting software space. Its detection model follows a different methodological approach compared to the other tools discussed here.
Their algorithm spots sudden odds movements at Pinnacle (a sharp betting site) and alerts users when these appear.

The main difference between Pinnacle Odds Dropper and other services is the number of bookies scanned.
They scan and focus only on Pinnacle. The alerts they display are not tied to any soft/slow bookie.
This allows users to compare alerts against prices offered by a broad selection of regional sportsbooks.
Pros of POD
- Can be used at any betting site, even at ones not available at other competitors
- You can build as many alerts/filters as you want
- The filtering system is highly customizable, and you can exclude many fake notifications
Cons of POD
- Using it will require significantly more work than a “regular” software
- You can’t exclude every fake value bet, so you need to verify odds at Pinnacle
- It offers value bets only for pre-match
Pricing:
The silver plan at POD costs only $39 per month, and they also give you a money-back guarantee if you are not satisfied with the service.

How many betting opportunities can you find with Breaking Bet?
In terms of the volume of value signals shown, Breaking Bet can display a noticeably different set of opportunities compared to other premium tools such as BetBurger or RebelBetting.
It does not currently operate with the fastest odds-refresh cycle, which can sometimes result in outdated or no-longer-available signals being shown.

OddsJam has provided an analytical odds-comparison service since 2021, with a primary focus on US and Canadian sportsbooks. Lately, it has started adding new bookies from Europe and other parts of the world.

Which are free value betting software worth your attention?
A free software is typically a limited version of a premium analytical service that highlights pricing discrepancies in sports betting markets.
The best value bets finders below are listed based on the usefulness of their free version, despite having some level of limitations:
- RebelBetting: They are offering a 2-week free trial for their services with a 3.5% profit limitation on displayed opportunities. No delays are applied.
- BetBurger: They are offering signals with a profit of up to 2% on each opportunity. A delay of 15 minutes is applied.
- OddsJam is focusing on the US & Canadian value market with a large knowledge base and a 7-day free trial. They apply no profit limitations or delay.
- BetWasp is focusing entirely on the US and Canadian bookmakers. It is the fastest bookie scanner for these when using a paid plan. The free plan has no time limits, but the profitability is limited to 2%. A 15-minute delay is applied to each betting opportunity.
How to choose between a paid and a free software?
Below is a short list of the influencing factors for choosing a paid value betting software over a free service:
1. Scanning speed
The refresh rate/scanning speed of each software is different. Some services offer the same speed for their free version as for the paid subscription.
In these cases, the length of the free trial is what limits your possibilities.
Other services, such as BetBurger, have a free version for an unlimited time.
They are focusing on giving access to odds, but with a significant delay in displaying new betting opportunities.
2. Profit margin on displayed opportunities
At the moment, 90% of +EV bet finders have some type of limitation on their free version.
Otherwise, unrestricted free access would significantly affect service sustainability.
One of the most common ones is limiting the maximum profitability of each bet.
BetBurger is offering +EV bets with a slight delay (60s) but up to a maximum profit of 2%.
Display delays and filtering thresholds can materially affect how analytical results appear over extended usage.
3. Limited number of bookies
This type of free trial is not as common as the above-mentioned differences between a free and paid service.
On the other hand, it might be a crucial point in choosing software over another if you are focusing on bookies that are not available in their free trial.
4. Accuracy
I used all of these scanners, and the one sure thing I can say is that all of them are making mistakes.
Unfortunately, in most cases, this is not their fault.
The bookies can make changes, and the algorithms can malfunction sometimes.
Scanning a bookie with that speed in play is not an easy task. This is one of the reasons many users continue to subscribe after evaluating the tools.
How were these services tested?
Back in 2013, when I started using odds comparison services. I used BetBurger, Rebelbetting, Surebet.com, ArbMate, and BetOnValue for many years.
Each value betting software mentioned in this article was tested based on the following criteria:
- Testing scanning speed with the software and the sports event open side by side
- Comparing the scanning speed of each individual software with each other
- Analyzing the list of betting sites scanned and their focus country
- Comparing the user/mobile friendliness of each +EV bets finder
- Evaluating signal consistency using a controlled sample of historical odds comparisons
- Comparing the number of value bets displayed for the same event
- Checking the value/price ratio a user gets when subscribing
- Testing the filtering options to exclude each insignificant betting opportunity
- Keeping in contact with the developers/owners of each value bet finder to be up to date about each update
