BetWasp Review: A Value-Bet Identification Tool for USA & Canada

BetWasp is a value-bet identification tool with partial automation features, designed specifically for US and Canadian betting markets.

After using many comparable services since 2013, I tested BetWasp by evaluating factors such as scanning speed, data accuracy, bookmaker coverage, pricing structure, and overall usability.

In the United States, sports betting legality varies by state. Some betting strategies, platforms, bonuses, or software mentioned may not be available or permitted in all states. BetWasp Tested: my opinion & review

Pros of BetWasp

  • 37 bookies + 35 of their clone bookies are scanned from the US and Canada
  • It is currently positioned as one of the lower-priced EV-based scanning tools for both pre-match and live markets ($59.99 / $99.99).
  • Value betting services included in the same pricing plan
  • Free up to 2% on value bets
  • One of the more cost-accessible in-play bookmaker scanners for these markets.
  • Advanced filtering options to exclude unwanted betting opportunities
  • A high-frequency odds-scanning service for both pre-match and live markets across these bookmakers.
  • Redirection tool for opening the desired match with one click
  • Each significant sport is scanned
  • The ability to freeze your subscription plan when not using it
  • Competent developer team that solves issues pretty fast
  • The ability to freeze your subscription plan when not using it
  • 7 days subscription plan available

Cons of BetWasp

  • Might require some time to figure out how to set up filters correctly (you can find my guide below)
  • Some bookies still need to be implemented

A newer tool developed by BetBurger introduces a different workflow for identifying value-based betting opportunities.

This semi-automated +EV betting software is capable of placing sure bets only with minimal human input.

In summary, BetWasp is a specialized value-bet scanning platform focused on US and Canadian betting sites, with an emphasis on workflow efficiency and filtering flexibility.

When BetWasp identifies a potential pricing discrepancy, the workflow generally involves the following steps:

  • Select the betting opportunity by clicking on it
  • Check the stakes calculated by the tool (you can insert your desired stakes)
  • Click BET and BetWasp will redirect you to the Bookie and open the sports event for you

It’s important to mention that you will have to find the market and insert the stakes yourself, then click Place bet.

Based on ongoing comparisons with similar tools, BetWasp currently offers one of the more automation-assisted workflows available to retail users.

What is BetWasp?

BetWasp was developed by BetBurger to find and place value bets faster than their competitors.

The intention behind developing this tool is to reduce manual workflow friction and minimize common execution errors through structured automation.

The most common issues of successful value bettors are not being fast enough to catch odds before they drop and making mistakes when calculating and inserting the stakes.

What is BetWasp capable of?

BetWasp is scanning 70 most important bookmakers at the moment for value betting opportunities.

Based on internal usage observations, automation-assisted workflows may allow some users to evaluate a higher number of opportunities compared to fully manual processes.

Is Betwasp a completely automated value software?

No, BetWasp is not a completely automated value bet finder. A fully automated +EV bet finder or bot would place every bet that is included in your filters.

If you are not a complete beginner in value betting, you probably know that even the best bookie scanners are making mistakes.

In some cases, data inconsistencies or temporary errors may result in incorrect odds or betting line displays.

I oftentimes see +EV bets with odds of 1.85, for example, while at the bookmaker, the real odds are 1.63.

How to use BetWasp?

  • Make a free account on their website
  • Set up the filters: +EV bet percent (profit %), betting opportunities age (how long the betting opportunity is available for), Odds value (min and max odds)

  • Select the betting sites you are using from the bookmaker list, then from your filters
betting sites covered/scanned by Betwasp
  • Filter the sports and markets you want to use and basically, you are good to go
  • How? My account > Filters > Add Filter or Edit > Scroll down > Sports & Positive EV’s Types

How to set up your filters as a pro?

Selecting bookies/clones

  1. Head over to My account > Bookmakers
  2. Select Prematch if you want to place bets before the event, or Live if you are focusing on in-play betting
  3. Find the bookies you will use. If they are not the main bookie, but the secondary clone, click on it
  4. This way, it will appear in your filters down the road
  5. Click save

Setting your filters up

  1. My account > Filters > select the desired value bet timing
  2. Add a filter or Edit filter if you already have an existing one
  3. Some users choose lower EV thresholds to reduce the likelihood of rapid account scrutiny, although policies vary by operator.
  4. Value bets age: 2-3 min for pre-match and 2 sec at least for live, so you can exclude bets that will disappear right away
  5. From bookies, you select only the ones you have funds at and you want to use
  6. Select the popular sports at the beginning: soccer, tennis, and maybe hockey, baseball
  7. From Positive EV’s types, leave them as it is at the start and exclude some if you do not need them

How to use it in the betting process?

After completing the filter setup, the tool begins displaying opportunities that match your selected criteria.

The interface is very similar to BetBurger, so it will be familiar if you have already used it.

By clicking on a betting opportunity, a new tab will appear on the right side of your window.

There, you can change the desired stakes for that betting opportunity.

After that, you can hit BET, and the tool will redirect you to the betting site + sports event.

Here you NEED to find the betting market and insert the stakes from the calculator for that outcome.

After hitting Place bet, you will need to repeat the process with the other betting site.

How much does it cost?

Having in mind that BetWasp is entirely focused on the US and Canadian markets, their subscription fees are fairly low compared to other services.

Down below you can see the tools and options you will get for a monthly subscription.

betwasp updated pricing plan

Their pricing plan includes access to a positive EV betting calculator, which is also a semi-automated value betting software.

Being redirected to the right event will save you a lot of time.

This workflow can increase the number of opportunities a user is able to review within a given time frame. The pricing reflects the feature set and market focus of the platform.

If you find these prices too high at the start, you can opt-in for their weekly subscription plan instead.

Bookmakers Scanned

At the moment, they are scanning only the following 41+ bookies from the USA and Canada.

If you are using these and you were satisfied with the performance of BetBurger, then BetWasp is the next step to profits.

Unfortunately, they no longer have an arb finder. Make sure to check our country specific relevant guide here:

Conclusion

BetWasp is a value-bet scanning and workflow tool designed to assist users in identifying pricing discrepancies while reducing manual execution steps.

The redirection feature is designed to streamline navigation between identified opportunities and bookmaker interfaces.
